School Garden

If you're in the Mendocino County area and you're interested in starting up a school or pre-school garden, contact us and we can put you in touch with folks who can help you out.

The California School Garden Network (CSGN) has created a wonderful, free resource and guide to start to develop and sustain a school garden: Gardens for Learning - Creating and Sustaining Your School Garden.

To view the guide, download the guide, or order a free copy, visit the CSGN here.

Victory Garden

In 2009, the Mendocino County Master Gardeners organized a three part series on "Creating Your Own Victory Garden" that was open to the general public. The three classes took participants through planning, planting, and harvesting their own garden.
